I'd love to see JK's music in animated form, it'd be interesting to see if he's as good at scoring as he is at VGM I picked up Pirate's Curse in a humble bundle a while ago, I'll need to play that, too, this year. I loved the Mighty Switch Forces. Thanked by: miyabi95_

I've been playing way too much Doomsday Clicker on my phone, it can eat up quite a lot of time. The good part is that it's made by an NZ company so I guess I'm supporting the local gamedev community?

I played the Sonic 06 PC port that's in development. it's actually good. like it plays well, without glitches while still managing to feel like Sonic 06. It's kinda like the demo version in terms of physics.

Playing Moon. Retrying for a Zygarde doge form with good stats.
I'll call him Zydoge.

Playing Gothic 3 (PC) with Community Patch 1.75.14 & Update Pack 1.04.10, also used Gothic 3 Shader & Ini by MadFaTal to get more sight distance. So far, it's pretty cool and plays like Skyrim. Already freed some cities from the orcs and will probably do some quests in the desert next time. Also good to see that by now, it's not as buggy as it was when they released it around 10 years ago (they hired some guys from India and screwed up nearly everything).
And of course, Shantae: Half Genie Hero (Wii U) which I backed with 55 Euros. Although, not nice that they screwed up parts of the German translation (for example the chef in Main Street who was nearly illegible). At least they translated the majority of it better than Pirate's Curse, which was so bad that I changed the game to English language. Shame on you, Wayforward. Anyway, music and gameplay are gorgeous and I hope the free DLC is as good as the main game.

so i guess BS Zelda is more or less "hey, wanna visit one of nintendo's greatest accomplishments WITHOUT wanting to bang your head against a wall?"
by that i mean BS Zelda is a fun and quick romp through the first Zelda game, remastered in 16-bit and with fewer dungeons to complete. the extra items and bonuses are also a cool addition~ but like seriously NES zelda is just so infuriating for me. lol

Man I really love NES Zelda... as long as you have a map/at least know where the first dungeon is... Like man, finding that first dungeon was hard...
With how excellent Metroid Zero Mission was - it's a great shame the old Zeldas never got remade or anything. Specially as with some MAJOR alterations - I reckon Zelda II could be made into something quite special. As for me, Monster Hunter - trying to get all the small crowns. Killed the same thing 42 times to get the smallest sized one... yeah... Thanked by: miyabi95_

Amusingly enough, Oracle of Seasons started out as a remake of the original Zelda. That's why most of the game's bosses are updated Zelda 1 bosses.

Speaking of Zelda, just got back into Hyrule Warriors on 3ds. Haven't even started the dlc map packs yet, and just introducing myself to all the new characters.
so uh
freedom planet 2 demo is beautiful. and 4 playable characters too! i've always appreciated action platformers with an all-female cast. so the devs have me interested for sure also does anyone absolutely love the menu music as much as i do? it's super nostalgic, but there's something else about it that gives me goosebumps. so good Thanked by: Cloud6625, Rapidkirby3k

I totally agree with Freedom Planet 2. I played through the original again to compare, and it's night and day an improvement. The first game was a great Genesis Era platformer with good art, music, and gameplay, but the second game beats it in every way.
I don't just love the menu music, the stage music is also absolutely fantastic. The three or so tracks we have are already better than anything from the first game. Consider me excited. Thanked by: miyabi95_, Rapidkirby3k

Man, what a great game. Battletoads is pretty damn famous but this has to be the better title. Sure, it still has the stupid 2 player Game Over annoyingness but it's such a blast. Definitely an overlooked gem. Thanked by: psychospacecow
My god what an unforgiving game. Starts off normal, gets hard but then when you get to the Cell levels - boom, so much death. A non-perfect jump - death Move a pixel too far to the left - death And to top it all off if god forbid you fall through a part of the floor that you have no way of knowing is going to fall - death/doing the bit again. Pick the wrong door after a super hard section - back to the start of it you go! Also need to relearn how to rip NES games... Quick Edit: About half way through ripping the whole game, some boss sprites are pretty useless as they are just lots of parts - but will get them anyway, also: damn no one has the enemies or bosses (besides Shredder) from the first NES TMNT, what the smeg - well that's on the list now as well!
