an updated duck animation, an idle (if used in a game there likely wouldn't be a "get up" animation due to the fact that if it was there it'd throw off the controls a bit), and a bunch more

Smooth as buddah! The amount of bounce you put into your ducking sprite really adds a lot of life to the animation. Excellent job!

kumatora thing Sick Cool As Hell Friend Designs yet another "attempt" at a mario 2 hack the reason why there's way more than 4 characters is because if i do full sheets for everyone i'll have it so you can patch characters in and out of the game individually so you can have custom rosters. Hmm...you're going to be overhauling the tile work too, right? Or adding some outlines to these guys? Otherwise they won't look so great once you take them off of that black background...

I always did admire how fluid and stylized your sprites were when I would see them on tumblr.
It's like an advanced Paper Mario sort of thing. Really curious to see how characters like Bowser suit to this style. I bet you wouldn't do it. -smug face-

taking a break from SMB2, here's something completely different
newest on right (farthest left is from bmup, middle was just as practice). originally it had sel-out: but i wondered how it'd look without it, and it looks much cleaner. this is also one of the few times where i make a palette first, then make a sprite after.
