Thanks! I probably need to add more frames to the transition at the peak. And animating jumps isn't really a good thing to do. You gotta code that stuff for real lol

Whaaaaat? Killer sprites, dude! The way you draw your proportions and eyes really reminds me of Konjak's stuff. Very modern! The only thing is...shouldn't Samus' waist be a little slimmer than you've drawn it here? I know she's in a power suit, but yeah, it's supposed to be pretty thin there.

but Metroid is a guy. his being a guy is what makes him buff. when I was a kid watching my uncle play Super Metroid, I didn't know who Samus was or whether or not the charater was a guy or a girl. All I knew was he was Metroid, and he was a guy. Even the death animation of Samus turning out to be a girl didn't make sense to me.

A metroid is a parasitic jellyfish-like creature with large manibles. Samus is a chick. Her name is not Metroid any more than Zelda is the hero of the Zelda series.

I think that was his intention. Since quite a few people actually mess it up he decided to go along with it to bug people, but now it's not funny since I had to explain the joke. :X

Oh well, I guess I can see Medevenx's reasoning here. Now that I think about it, he's using Link's old colors so a masculine Samus would make a lot of sense from an interpretive perspective.
