Oh, I didn't take any screenshots of it or anything, but last night I also replaced [some of] the generic MyBB post icons with the original tSR smilies so that they can be used again.

Dazz didn't like the changes I made so I reverted and tried some smaller-scale things.
How do you guys like this?
YES THIS IS PERFECT THANK YOU SO MUCH
It's the perfect balance of light and dark, and none of the elements blend together.
(Only the background changed this time but it really makes a world of difference)

Yep, love this. My only issue with the previous change was the posts being too dark, this is perfect

You know, I noticed the theme wasn't burning my eyes all of a sudden, so someone probably did something right, lol.
The colors seem a bit off for some reason (like too dark), but I'm sure with a little more finagling it'll look okay.
Also the new forum index icons look really dopey. I've never been crazy about that VGR logo because it always looked like the wu-tang clan symbol to me, lol.
Is there any way you can make a middle ground of sorts - like, the text, angled and 8-bitty but like, in a solid, round circle?

Its very nice. My eyes don't really hurt this way. Although, its gonna take me a while to get used to the side buttons. For some reason, I keep getting "has had recent post" and "up to date" mixed up.

Hi, everyone.
I've replaced The Dark Resource skin with The Darkest Resource skin, which is the official dark theme.
I've been working on this for a while and it's finally to a point where I think that it's okay for public consumption.
It's not exactly complete and it'll certainly need some tweaks from here of course, but I'll need you guys to provide your input on that.
Anyway, dark theme is up, enjoy.

Yeah this theme is pretty nice...though maybe it's a little too dark ): actually it's 2spooky4me.
Is there any way you could put the blue thead, tcat, logo etc. from the default theme so it's less...black? Right now it's so black that bats are coming out of my computer as I'm using it....like uh, what I was working on:
Also the tfoot URL colors are way too dark and it blends a bit hard with the tfoot itself; bringing it up a letter would make them look okay (probably the same color as the active page number in the navigation would work?)
Is there a text shadow on most of the text? I don't know if it's eyes playing tricks on me, but it looks like the text does...but it's like, kind of greyish and it's really messing me up - like all the text looks blurry for some reason. :/
Otherwise it's pretty awesome and much better on my eyes, gj
(also I was totally going to give you the source to my Dark Resource but w/e i see how it is
na jk youre literally like never around ah well)

Hey hey it's me Kosheh, your local Pain In The Buttocks
I wanted to ask if it'd be possible to literally steal VGFacts' theme. They have literally the coolest thing: every month, the background is switched out with a new one, so in a sense they always stay relevant and up to date on gaems...and it's a thin, streamlined design to boot. It looks so cool.
Like seriously guys, check this shit out.
http://www.vgfacts.com/forums/thread-571.html
If you could somehow Frankenstein the top <div id="header"> of VGR into the <div id="container"> of the rest of this site, it'd make me as happy as a crustacean, and I think it'd really get some creative wheels turning if WE, THE USERBASE could help you get things kickin' for the sidebars (and...honestly, take a load off your shoulders too)
Tell you what - if there's any way I can help to get this started (though doing it in all Firebug with the themes I've made is really cumbersome and really annoying) I'll be glad to help
Unless we switch to a fixed-width layout here, it won't really work. The reason it's possible over there is because we know what width the content is going to be at all times. Here, the content is a percentage of the screen so, unless the background is something that can tile and just fill what's visible behind the content, it's really not feasible. That does remind me that we need to prepare a new background though - we've skipped a couple of months due to work on the new version.
