Regarding Chaoxys' suggestion for the mask, this is what he had in mind:
I see his point with this, but I want to wait until I hear what everyone else thinks about his idea before I apply it.
Anyway, here's just a little more progress for both Parakarry and the Archduke Fredisand.
EDIT: I just got feedback for the helmet over on Starman.net. A user named Ziggyhacks recommend this idea. Your thoughts?

As I waited for a little more feedback, I decided to return to Mario. How did I do?

the hammer doesnt feel properly centered, like you're over judging the perspective.

After removing the central outlines, I noticed that, too. I wasn't planning on correcting it until I move onto refining the hammer, but thanks for pointing that out anyway.

Good to know! I'm glad that you and the rest of my buddies over on MFGG keep giving me valuable feedback on this project.
I'll do more with the arms later, but first, I want to see how these parts are so far.

Are you going to do frame-based animation with papery deformations like in Color Splash or just stick with skeletal animation without the deformations?

If I could either get specialized software or figure out how to pull it off successfully with Maya, then I'd go with a hybrid system. Still, I wouldn't go as far as Color Splash would since it might get too distracting. Besides, I'll just keep it in small doses.
Okay, I got some new progress. I want to make sure the new position of the front foot looks right to you guys. As for Kent, Q-Nova was concerned by the realistic prospect of the mouth clipping through the beak when it opens. A a result, I worked on that.

As I wait for new feedback, I went ahead with not only some more Koopa progress, but also little more progress on a certain sand eel.

I got a new set of feedback from Jaharl over on MFGG. Most of it relates to Fredisand, but I got a couple for the Koopas. Not only are the ends of the mask alright, but I also shouldn't give the punk Koopa's accessories any outlines. Still, this is just his opinion, so you're free to either agree or disagree with it.
Now, as long as I'm waiting for more feedback, I worked a little more on Mario. As always, I left notes on the WIP.

So, this one guy over on MFGG mentioned how the position of the hammer's handle looks odd, so I experimented with it a little bit more.

Blandish/Grendel wanted me to test one of Mario's new hands, which is why he's on here.
By the way, I'd hate to ask you this, but would you mind spreading the word of this project? I would appreciate more feedback to ensure that I achieve at least decent quality for this project.

Well, I got some new feedback regarding Kent C. Koopa and the hands, so I applied it to my newest work.

Now that I got some confirmation from Spuzzwick over on DK Vine, I now made some new progress on his character.

I didn't have to work on a lot of progress today, so I only made a few tweaks to Fredisand (I included the original version for a slight comparison).
