Custom Sprites

Here are some Earthbound/Mother-inspired sprites.  I wantes to see your opinions on them and how I can improve.

   
   
   
   
   

[Retro64]

These are pretty good, especially the mushroom! The only thing I recommend is the color palette. Earthbound uses a very distinct colors and rules on every sprite, the most important being black is never used for outlines, it uses a very dark brown. The game overall never uses flat colors.

Retro has solid points that I think will help you in the long run. I will say however is that I think you have the design aesthetic close to being nailed.

Thank you both, but I don’t plan on completely mimicking the Earthbound style, just using it as my inspiration.
