The loss pose could just be him grabbing his hat, PM2-style, after a battle.
And yes, the shell shouldn't be Kooper's, it should be Koops's, to get one partner form each of the games.

Nah I like what I have for a FS now. And I'll just recolor the shell to make it Koops. Pretty easy.
I like the hat for the lose pose but what should I make for the win pose

- For the Up-Tilt, perhaps you could do an over the head fist attack. The arm extends behind the head initially, then swings over the head to complete the attack.
- Well, Game and Watch has extremely limited animation, and his bug spray attack performs multiple hits the more you tap A. How would the AAA combination work with the current set?

Just edit the Paper Mario sprites to your style, and keep the hand intact.
Or, you could do any of the Stylish poses from either PM:TTYD or SPM. Any of those could work, too.

Sorry to double post but I found many a flaw in the hand parts of the sprites. I went back and fixed them. And added the clapping sprites and a victory pose. I need some ideas for the other two

1. The stylish move for the Super Hammer move, PM:TTYD-style. He spins his hammer a bit, but then strikes a pose with his hands in the air, and little party favors sprinkle around him out of nowhere.
2. The stylish move for the Piercing Blow ability, combined with that of the Throw Hammer ability, PM:TTYD-style. He backflips onto the screen, then somersaults in place. He then again strikes a pose with his hands in the air, and the party favors erupt.

The first one. Rotating two poses is basically all that you need for that one. The second one requires a rotation of one pose across, like, three different axes, and THEN one static pose, but whatever. The party favors should actually be relatively simple.

So let me see if I get this right:
In the first one, he spins the hammer around on his hand and does the hands up pose. And in the second one he jumps backwards then fowards and does the hands up pose.
