8 charts, actually the most annoying part is gathering enough Rupees because Tingle is a distinguished gentleman who overcharges someone who freed him; Ungrateful bastard.
You can do the chart search at any time after the second half, you can even get one even before clearing the Tower of the Gods if you know where to look.

honestly this game is a turn down the wrong path for zelda because they are probably going to start focusing on "novelties" in the upcoming sequels instead of the real zelda gameplay we've all come to love. These novelties all started with WW, and it was a nice addition, but then ph ran it into the ground. Bet link gets to pilot an airplane next...

Eh I wouldn't say novelties. Its just a means of transportation in the overworld like Epona.

I don't know, something I enjoy about the Zelda series is how each game has a unique element, most of the time. LttP had dimension traveling, OoT had time travel, MM had masks and a 3-day system, and WW had sailing in an ocean-world. Spirit Tracks might be enjoyable too, my main gripe is just that to me, something like a train and railways doesn't fit into Zelda, even with the series' occasional steampunk (is that the right word?) undertones. I suppose it also might be because Spirit Tracks' unique aspect is indeed just another mode of transportation.

You'll get bored because halfway through the game there is a plot twist which forces you go go sailing all around the entire game (which is the most boring part) and not doing dungeons.
You have to collect what, 50 triforce charts?
Er... there's 8...
But, I totally agree, I did get bored of it.
I recently fixed my game and I'm going to get the other 5.
I you game guides.
Signatures are overrated...

There was that entire steam/magnets/gears dungeon in Twilight Princess, and no one minded about that. The tech level in the series is actually pretty high (once you handwave power source problems with magic crystals 'n shit, a lot of tech suddenly becomes very achievable), but no one feels the need to use it much. Like Tazmilly Village in Mother 3.
Specs 'n' Headphones has been revamped! Check it, yo.
Thanks to Pik and Solink; they are sexy people.

Oot and Lttp owns.
Trains don't belong in the zelda series.

Well that's the thing, the Fierce Deity mask was a sidequest, as in, it was optional. The game is perfectly enjoyable without it, it's just there for people who want to give themselves a challenge. I really don't understand your reasoning anyway, considering most of what you need (masks) to get the Fierce Deity mask you get playing through the game normally anyway.

i'm sick of telling all you all that if you know anything about original ideas and deep gameplay then MM is clearly superior.
Not a fanboy, i love OOT but it just wasn't as good.

Why? WHY?
...Why does every Zelda thread turn into one big Oot vs MM spitting contest?
