Or Ditto could change into one of the pokemon at random.

Yeah, unless Ditto transformed into a set of pokemon you couldn't get normally from a pokeball, I'm not sure what else could be done that's practical. (even then it's just an alternative to metronome)

That's basically what he was supposed to do in SSBM from what I've heard. Not a bad suggestion. Turning him into a random Pokemon would be dumb though for reasons previously stated.

Not that I'd have anything against these guys, but being more descriptive would be great. "20 different things" is a bit vague and percentages for the attacks always help.

Jirachi shouldn't be worthless. Instead it should use doom desire, (it's signature move) while Jirachi is out a opponent closest to Jirachi is surrounded by steel shard that slam into the player (ranging from 50% - 80% damage) then a giant steel chunk will fall but can be dodged. being hit by this usually results in a KO.

I also have a replacement for deoxys if anybody wants to hear it. It involves it's different forms.

K, I think Plusle and Minun should be a set pokeball pokemon (think latios/latias) When they show up, they will run around the stage (not together, but probably close for the most part) and a stream of electricity will run between them that shocks anyone in between.

That sounds cool. My Idea for Deoxys...

Speed Form: Extreme Speed, Dashess across the screen several times at blinding speeds.
Defence Form: Protect, Protects player and counters all damage taken.
Attack Form: Giga Impact & Hyper Beam, Slams foe then blasts foe with hyper beam.
Normal Form: Psyco Boost: Hits Foe with Psychic power.

The other two aren't bad, but these are too overpowered.
