The eyebrows, i meant that they need to be lighter in colour, but the bracelets being thicker looks better, in my opinion.

his eyebrows need to be lighter
use the old teeth. They suited Rool better
his farthest eye is too bloodshot.
His crown, if you look close enough, has little dots on the end
And shading generally needs to be done from his shoulders down (not including arms)
all of these are stupid

i dont even understand what you're saying with that last one
also you guys are shading the muscles all wrong

shoulders are not a blob
biceps/triceps are not a single blob
forearms are not a blob

(will reshade that later for you guys i guess????)

If you look at that reference picture I keep posting, you'll see that his biseps/shoulders, etc actually are pretty much blobs. Rool doesn't have much defined muscle from what I've seen.

Though I agree the forearm looks a tad off. That curve near the elbow is lookin' real unnatural. I think it needs more of a pointed elbow?

no see your reference picture still shows that he has muscles

they just aren't very defined, that doesn't mean that you should completely disregard proper anatomy and just throw 3 blobs on his arms and call it good though

I don't really know all that much about muscles and anatomy, so I pretty much based this arm off of the one made by principal wailson and then looking at my arm in a mirror. Probably is really off, so if someone else should take a crack at it.

Shaded the belly and legs, though. Not really liking the legs, though. Any crits? Also I cannot shade capes for the life on me. Someone please do that part.

The shading is much better around the arms now. The legs, however, aren't as good. There is hardly any definition or attention to detail. The belly isn't very good either, because you can see each shade as being separate, and the dont blend as well as around the arms.

I still say we should just use the old head with the new pallet. That head looked great!

I dunno, I actually like 1up's version a lot more than all of the others (except the pose, I like the first one's pose). The anatomy makes the most sense, and I personally like the small hands and feet.

Wes' looks to tall and not wide enough, and the shading doesn't look very nice.

IMO we really need to somehow merge 1 and 2 together, like somehow give's 1up's sprite the first one's pose

The old one was really great.
All we need to do is combine 1-Up's shading style and Wes' Bracelets, then...Woila!

After looking at the sprites more thoroughly... I think you're right. Something about the first pose just looks more... playful and silly. I like it.

Maybe someone could try changing the shading and possibly make the hands a little bigger, too?

personally i say give 1up's one wes' head and modify the far arm a bit so the pose is like the old one.

I actually don't really like Wes' head. To me, we need to work with the first one, because to me, all it really needs is a better pallette and to make the limbs and belly not look like it's comprised of merely circles, unlike 1up's version.

I like the actual sprite work of Wes's head but it doesn't feel K. Roolish like the original head did.
