Are you sure?

One of them has green trunks, while the other one has red ones. Dir.HR also has a stronger tan.
Chiroru on the other hand is indeed there, revision to change the sheet's icon title is on the way.
You're right, my bad. Damn sprites are too similar.
BOF2's rips are ancient. Honestly, 99% of them probably need to be redone.

This was supposed to be a quick test rip for Star Ocean (SNES), but the holes in the map, the transparency for certain parts and the different opacities of the shadow layers are what really makes it hard:
Edit:
Cheated by using screenshots, I really can't recreate this effect within my graphics program, probably some fancy programming was used to set priorities ingame.
Anyway, map is now ripped.

Currently doing Terranigma, but on the side I'm always looking for some nice games to rip.
These ones look like they come from RPG Maker, but actually I have no idea:
Most probably an old PC game (maybe MS-DOS?), also had to resave these ones as PNG, since imgur doesn't allow BMP (their original format).
This was sitting on my HDD for a very long time, but I never found out what the original game was.

Jurassic Park (SNES). This WIP only covers 1/4 of the actual map.
Bottom layer is just a single repeating panorama.
Complete map without layers here:
https://www.oldgames.sk/en/game/jurassic...oad/10428/
What makes ripping this so hard is that walk thru walls doesn't work with stairs (blocks), pipes (softlock) and water (death).
T-Rex and Triceratops also kill on contact, even with infinite health.
I love how random some of your ripping choices are. Great job!

The water is really annoying, I need to ask gamehacking discord for a code to walk thru that.
Maybe they have a solution, experiences were always good with them.
@Ton: The jungle tiles are really neat.
I also think this game can be actually finished, ripping-wise.
The overworld map is WIP, I also just submitted some stuff from the beginning (intro, title, etc.)
Tileset animations, maybe (if there are) map changes & ending?
There's not much left.
Edit:
Walk on Water : You still need "Walk Through Walls"

Have you looked into that EVO: Search for Eden game? That seems like something right up your alley.

Unfortunately, EVO is not really my genre.
Jurassic Park uses tiles that could be in an rpg, this is why I chose it. Also just finished Isla Nublar, it's one of the biggest maps I've ever ripped (4096x4096, 2,70MB).
Next one should be a classic rpg again, maybe Breath of Fire 2? I played the first one years ago on GBA. Also never touched Chrono Trigger for some reason.

FF6Tools:
https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/1267/
https://everything8215.github.io/ff6tools/ff6tools.html
Selected the Japanese Final Fantasy VI ROM [!] and now I can cycle through the maps, even with layers.
I assume Ton & daemoth also used this tool? Just checked some stuff on the site and found some differences:
Battle Backgrounds by daemoth:
https://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/ff6/sheet/54685/
I already found some battle bgs which are not on the site, while others are cut off at the bottom:
They are from the JP version, is the NA version different?
Edit:
For some reason there's a vertical black line blinking in the top left corner of each battle bg, as if it's waiting for me to type something.
Just press arrow key down to make it disappear / appear outside the battle bg.
Edit2 : Submitted the battle backgrounds.
Edit3: All tilesets are done + a few castle maps (layered).

Ripped with FF6Tools. This one has multiple issues:
- miscoloured leftovers from other tilesets
- pyramid in FF6Tools is missing
- bottom right of Xyssia's fire powered ship sheet has cables which are not in FF6Tools
The existing tilesets on the other hand don't have all forest tilesets, overworld air fortress is missing, the ancient library has transparency issues and I have no idea where its darkened version comes from. Maybe a nightfall cutscene with event specific palette change?
