Isaac
#16
His Final Smash could be Rangnorak in Golden Sun 1 where a Giant Sword is summoned and strikes down on the enemies.

Since the characters disappear when Summons are used in Golden Sun, may I add a flavorful suggestion to Ragnarok as a Final Smash?

Isaac disappears, and reappears riding the gigantic sword like a surfboard on the way down.

Huh? : D

Issac is an Earth Adept. Using Fire or Thunder moves just wouldn't look right. Issac should stay primarily with the Earth Psyenergy. This also means some of his attacks can possibly "ground" opponents, kinda like DK.

Standard Special - Move

The Counter attack. Pressing this move will summon a giant hand, and will push enemies away from Issac in whatever direction the hand is facing. Does very little damage, but the foe does get pushed away from you.

Upward Special - Growth

Surprisingly not a Tether. Issac will create a little sprout beneath him, which will grow and propel Issac in the air. He can adjust the growth either left or right.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wA2yjmTIF14 Check at 2:54 for what Growth would look like in action. The vine would look more like the one from Golden Sun of course. You can move the vine left and right too. (BTW, anyone who hasn't played Wario Ware: Twisted, one of the best GBA games. Check it out.)

Downward Special - Quake

Think Donkey Kong, only when Issac does it, he summons an earthquake that lasts about five seconds. It takes about a second for him to summon the earthquake, but when he does summon it, foes will take damage in the area adjacent to Issac. While the quake is going, Issac is grounded and can't defend himself from a move in the air. The move has a 10% chance of grounding an enemy.

Side Special - Spire

Issac shoots a spire out of his sword. The spire doesn't go any amount of distance, however. You'll take damage if you appear in the hitbox when the spire is crumbling.

Final Smash - Ragnarok/Odyssey

Issac holds out his Gaia Blade above his head. Several small swords will fly from above, followed by a great big sword that lands smack dab in the middle of the stage. You have one in four chances of getting grounded from the huge Ragnarok sword, but it only does 25%, leaving you a sitting duck if you're in the ground for Issac to smash you.

Side Smash - Flint

Strike a blow that can cleave a stone! Issac's smash attack has him charging up a jumping slash from his Gaia Blade.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SQ_e_D5BpY 1Cute1 to watch Flint in action!

We can innovate Issac's other smash attacks as time goes by. Not all of them even have to use his sword =o

Obviously, Move isn't going to be as broken like it was while he was an AT, right? Right. Also, I feel like Earthquake shouldn't last as long as 5 seconds. Maybe a big burst attack that might ground enemies or launch them into the air. I dunno.

Other than that, I'm content with the moveset :V

I'm liking the Earth-only moveset a lot. The quake move seems like you might have to tweak it or something.

Also, how would Move work in your moveset?

Quake can be edited, we could make it like Donkey Kong actually. Or it could be a trap Issac sets. The only specification is that Quake grounds opponents.

Move is a counter. When Issac uses it, enemies get pushed back. Think the Bumper item from Brawl.

Here's a small update of suggestions for other attacks with the Earth motif. Don't have everything yet, though.

Neutral Attack: Sword Combo: Basic sword attacks
Dash Attack: Rockslide: Skids to a stop, pushing up crags of rock in front of his feet. Kind of a pun. Rocks. Sliding... yeah.

Foward Tilt: Sword Stab: Basic sword stab.
Up Tilt: Sword Slice: Basic slice overhead
Down Tilt: Low Kick: Basic low kick

Forward Smash: Gaia Blade: Stabs his sword into the ground, and a big crag of rock pushes up in front of him. (Perhaps blade shaped?)
Up Smash: Quake Sphere: Forms two balls of earth in his hands that he smashes together over his head.
Down Smash: Punji Strike: Bamboo spears shoot up on both sides of him.

Throw: Utilizes his Psyenergy hand to catch and throw. (Whether the hand extends to grab or just appears for a normal grab distance is debatable)

EDIT: My bad, I didn't see his video link for Flint. I actually meant to ask what it looked like in this post, but I don't have to, because it's there. xD And I do like it better.

I like Ark's Side Smash more.

I don't think that a psyenergy should be used as his final smash because there are alot of stronger attacks in gs, personally a summon could do quite well possibly Judgement

Personally, I think I could swing either way, either with a cool summon like Judgement or Catastrophe (Is that the name of his reaaally awesome one in Lost Age?), OR with either of his "giant swords falling out of the sky" attacks.

I have a fondness for Ark's idea of the sword falling out of the sky and doing damage to everyone and grounding them all to leave them open for smashing. That's a unique take on it that I think translates well to a Final Smash.

Notice how lots of Final Smashes usually contain something that you can relate to the character, but at the same time they have their own unique aspects on it. An example of a FS that is almost completely derived from previous game material is Marth's Critical Hit, basically just him performing a critical hit from one of his games. Then take something like Luigi's final smash, something totally unique to smash, but indicative to his character. I consider Ark's idea for Ragnarok or Odyssey to be a good halfway point: It is very much something that is from his games, but it is given a new twist or feel to it. That's just my personal take on it.

I mean, we could do a summon.

But Ragnarok is exclusive to Issac. Technically, anyone can pull off a Judgement Summon. You could even make an item out of "Venus Dijinn" and have it sort of like collecting Dragoon pieces.

Ragnarok is a Psyenergy only Issac can use (except for in Lost Age, where Felix can use it...shut up guys.). And like Tom Guycott said (who needs to cut down on the text in his posts. Srsly man, you give TL;DR a new meaning), it fits Smash. Not everyone can have a Samus Aran shooty beam Final Smash. Gotta give some interesting ones.

xD Sorry man, I just looove to type, and I get carried away. It's like someone who loves listening to themselves talk, but... with typing.

And I also love the idea of Dijinn as items. It might get complicated, but maybe there could be a system for getting however many you can of one type (up to four) and depending on when you get it determines the summon.

Or we could limit it to just get four and you get a mondo summon spell. xD

Let's not restrict him to just one element. What are we saving the others for? Just use what you think would be the best for a given attack.

Yes. Let's.

I mean, he's an Earth Adept, and famous for being so. I just don't think it'd be right of he could use Fire, Water and Wind Psyenergy.

Can't he use any of them?
