It makes no point spriting him if we haven't preplanned what exactly we are spriting.

What did we decide again? Sword or Axe? if it's a sword, that pose is fine I think. Doesn't look like he's tea-bagging really, he's just energetically prepared to strike/be striked.

If it's an axe, I don't think that pose would work all that well. It'd be much cooler (and make more sense for that matter) to have him just standing there, all relaxed with some massive axe over his shoulder.

Come on, you cant think that Isaac doesn't look cooler in that pose than fighters with lighter weapons. This pose is just to highlight his strength, and make him look more awesome
